Our students of Ke Kula Kupa`a O Ka Pakipika (Kupa`a's School of the Pacific, Chicago) were the only representatives
from the Midwest to qualify and participate in the Opening Sacred Ceremonies of the 2nd World Hula Conference,
where we joined two thousand hula `olapa (students of hula) from around the world.
